Balanced Dividends Blogroll Spotlight #1: Dividends Diversify

I first came across the concept of a blogroll several months ago. But I didn’t create or publish the Balanced Dividends Blogroll until a couple of months afterward. (Looking back, I have no idea why I didn’t do it sooner!)

There are many great sites within the personal finance / investing arena. Some focus on F.I.R.E. and extreme frugality, while others focus on advanced trading or investing strategies. If you’re looking for a niche or specific topic, it’s likely there is great content out there. It’s just about finding it – hence the appeal of a blogroll (or a massive, kick-ass directory like Rockstar Finance).

As mentioned on the Balanced Dividends Blogroll, I peruse these sites regularly for good content, perspectives, and ideas. The list is growing, as I find myself reading and learning more each week. I do read and visit many other sites, but these are the first that I review each day in my feed for new and insightful posts.

Balanced Dividends Inaugural Spotlight: Dividends Diversify

Up first, I wanted to highlight the site where I first came across two things:

  1. A site with an actual Blogroll (in addition to other great content); and
  2. A constant source of great feedback and comments (regardless of which site he is on!).

You’ll find this and many other valuable things from Tom over at Dividends Diversify.

Why Do I Keep Going Back To Dividends Diversify?

Apart from the content, Tom is also extremely active within the dividend investing community (among others). You’ll see he is often one of the first readers to respond on various posts across a number of the other great sites in the community.

And these aren’t a quick “Nice post! <insert link to site>”, which translates to: “here is a link to my site – come to my site and click on my advertisements!” Tom’s comments, like his posts on Dividends Diversify, are clear and concise. They have meaning and carry weight.

You’ll also find a number of excellent series on Tom’s site. His recent exploration and research into new millionaires was very interesting. There is also his model portfolios and posts on individual securities and industries. You’ll find a lot of useful resources.

Wrapping It Up

Have you visited Dividends Diversify before? If not, why are you still here? I highly recommend you checkout Tom’s site.

Readers, are there any other sites you’d recommend? Where do you find yourself spending your time? What have you done to progress your goals today?
